Location:Varied (Face-to-face and online)
Area of work:We are currently looking for tutors in the following locations:
  • Derby
  • Derbyshire
  • Staffordshire
  • Stoke-on-Trent
Commissioned pay: £17.50 - £25.00 p/h rate

The hourly rate will be agreed prior to any deployment and will vary depending on the hourly length and training.

Main role and responsibilities
  • To ensure that all sessions / training courses are planned and delivered to a high standard.
  • To assist where necessary by supporting those who need extra help by offering 1 to 1 guidance.
  • To support the participation, retention and progression of learners in their sessions / training courses.
  • Liaise with other staff members effectively.
  • To attend and engage in relevant staff meetings, and maintain effective communication with staff, learners and other relevant organisations.
  • To undertake training and CPD as necessary and relevant to the post.
  • To be familiar with all operational, Health & Safety, Child Protection and Data Protection policies.
Job description
This role would be responsible for conducting engaging training with young people and adults in the community setting. The provision of training would be other small community organisations, young people in community settings and educational training opportunities. The training will consist of a range of provision, such as sports related courses, safeguarding, health and safety related, Play and youth work. As part of the role the tutor will be responsible for administration, planning, delivery and assessment of courses and qualifications that will be delivered in a blended learning approach.
